Our Investor Advisory Council consists of representatives from the investment community. Not only do they provide guidance for our staff and programs, they participate in pitch reviews, provide feedback and advice to our clients, and help our companies make the connections they need to advance their business.

The role of the members is five-fold

Sourcing – we look to Council members to refer women-led deals for participation in the Astia community.

Screening – we invite Council members to participate in the screening of our applicants (Silicon Valley, New York, London, Bangalore).

Strategy – we seek guidance from Council members as to the current state of investment. Once a year we will bring the full Council together for a brainstorming and strategy session (May 25, 2011).

Network  – we look to the Council to extend the Astia network in to the investment and entrepreneur community.

Brand and Name  – we ask Council members to lend their name and organization brand to Astia as an endorsement of the organization.
