Chester-based Wheatsheaf Group has backed the business behind a technology that transforms water and salt into disinfectants for the food production and processing industries.
Wheatsheaf Group, part of Grosvenor Estate, and Astia Angels have made an undisclosed investment into Ozone Purification (OZO). The Oxfordshire-based company develops food safety and hygiene products.
Ozone Purification chief executive Rowan Gardner said the investment would enable OZO to accelerate the rollout of its products to market.
